Driller control console with screens, seen from behind the chair. No person is shown.

The instrument is used for the acquisition, display, analysis, and storage of drilling data at the drilling site. A touchscreen centrally displays the parameters, so the driller operates through that screen.

The flyer does not print a kilowatt grid.

Performance

  • A human-machine display built for the driller.
  • Numerical, graphical, and instrument displays.
  • Database storage, described as complete data retention.
  • A local network that shares data between remote terminals at the wellsite and the drilling console.

The seats those screens sit in are specified on automated drilling control.
