DC motors are high-power, high-torque drive motors for the DC electric drilling rig, used on drawworks, mud pumps, and rotary tables. Two types are named: series excited and separately excited.
The dedicated flyer prints a rated-power band of 800 to 1,200 kW, a rated voltage of 750 V, and a rated-speed band of 750 to 1,000 rpm. The motors overview also prints a wider family scope of 600 to 1,200 kW for DC motors. The model table below is the one on this flyer.
